Audio Cables And Connectors Front Panel Audio Connector Cable To Short?

Front panel audio connector cable to short? - audio cables and connectors

I'm building my new PC with a problem on the front panel audio connector cable that came with my case, is too short to reach the front panel audio header on the motherboard.

Is it possible to extend or replace the cable?

I am looking for a solution where I can buy an extension cord that is not where I cut and processing of cables.

A link to an online store (even if the topic is exhausted or discointinued should work just fine)

Hello FAF,

Check FrontX.com

They have what you need.

1) From your page, click on "Web Store"

2) In the left menu bar, click Cables & Adapters "

3) Click on "Audio and Multimedia
Under "audio cable"
There are 2 types available with different connection settings.

I "assume" you must have version (???) x Male Female Connector

Audio Cable 2 '- 1x3 FM 1x3
# CPX516

This should be a link "Live-it-in an extension

4) In addition to Lefthand menu, look under "Miscellaneous"

There you will see installed SINGLE / separate cables with connectors.

# C213 TERMIMAL CRIMPED WIRE - FM

This can be useful and are available in various lengths.

If you use this, it would be wise to insulate the bare connections.
Shrink would be nice.
Radio Shack has the majority of electronics stores, so that the hardware and auto parts of many stores.
Tape also works well.

Hope that helps, good luck with your project!
